Front Range – Peak 3-4:

Obvious signs of instability:

  • Natural persistent slab avalanches from Monday-Tuesday wind event

Weather:

  • Sunny, temps in the 20s, calm-light wind

Surface conditions:

  • Variable, wind-affected snow: areas with supportable windboard, breakable windboard, and sheltered powder

Snowpack:
