Observations – Flattop

From Lance Breeding:

Skied the main westerly gully on Flattop Saturday.  Skied skier’s right side close to the established boot back.  Top corniced area firm, but edge worthy, transitioning into light powder on top of soft crust.  Booted back up looker’s right and found well formed four-six inch wind slab.  No reactivity or red flags noted.  Actively wind loading – likely blowing in the upper 20s.  Old avalanche debris (from slide that occurred around Christmas) still somewhat exposed down low.
